Sunday, November 26th is the First Sunday of Advent leading us up to Christmas Sunday on Dec. 24th. Our Advent theme this year is “Yes! Let it be!” which reminds us of Mary’s response to God’s plan of bringing Jesus into the world. Join us for these Advent and Christmas Sundays!

A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19th at 6 p.m. at the Southern Baptist Church on North Vine Street. Sponsored by the Arthur Ministerial Association, it will include songs, scriptures, and stories from the community, giving thanks to God.    Arthur Southern Baptist Church is located at 530 N. Vine St. in Arthur.
