The Ministry Team
Glen Rhodes
Minister of Discipling and Worship (Team Leader)
Glen was called to the AMC ministry team in 2002 from within this congregation. He is a graduate of Hesston and Goshen College and earned his Master of Divinity from Lincoln Christian Seminary. He loves serving God in various ways, proclaiming the good news of Jesus, building relationships with people, spending time with his family and friends, and cheering on his favorite sports teams (Cardinals, Broncos, Suns, and Illinois). Glen grew up in New Mexico but has enjoyed living in the farm country of Illinois with his wife Rhonda since 1991. They have a daughter Rebecca who is married to Steven and lives in California, and a son Derek who lives in Arthur and is currently engaged to Morgan.
Emily Kauffman
Minister of Outreach
Emily and her husband, Cory, live in Arthur along with their son, Austin. Emily has been a member of AMC for the past 12 years. She is currently a fifth grade teacher at the Arthur Grade School. Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family while looking for opportunities to build relationships.
Jeff Marner
Minister of Administration and Youth
A follower of Jesus since the age of 14, Jeff has been involved in AMC as far back as he can remember. He is husband to Jenni and father to Jillian, Denton, and Makai and they call Arthur home. On Sundays, you can often find him teaching during Christian Ed, singing prelude, and waiting in line during fellowship meals hoping that a deviled egg will survive until he gets there. During the rest of the week, he can be found working at Arthur’s laundromat and attending his kids’ events. Hobbies include video and board games, one wheeling, gardening, and fantasy baseball. Christian bands such as The OC Supertones, The Waiting, POD, and Five Iron Frenzy have influenced Jeff’s faith but recently he came to a realization that perhaps no other song has had as much impact on his personal faith as All-Star United’s song “La La Land”. As well, the works of CS Lewis and Brother Lawrence have had a definite impact on the development of that faith.

Minister of Community Life
Nancy is a graduate of the University of Illinois. She has attended Arthur Mennonite since 1980. Nancy lives with her husband, Ervin, on the family farm in Sullivan. They have two children – Ben and Carrie, both of whom live within one mile of the farm. Ben and his wife, Jessica, have three boys. Carrie and her husband, Nathan Harshman, welcomed a baby girl in November 2020. Nancy is currently the Assistant Manager at the Arthur MCC Thrift Shop and a substitute teacher for the Sullivan school district all while she cares for her 93-year-old mother. She enjoys her grandchildren, reading, spending winters in Sarasota, FL, and watching HGTV.
