The purpose of the AMC youth program is to expose youth to God’s love, develop a closer relationship with Christ, to provide opportunities to share God’s love with others, and to interact with each other as a faith community.
AMC Youth includes grades 6-12 and meets Sunday mornings during Christian Education time at 9:30am in the Youth House located to the east of AMC.
This group also enjoys lots of fun activities, including the annual Super Bowl Sub Sandwich Fundraiser every January & February. Other events have been things like escape rooms, ice skating, bowling, team building activities, and more!
Arthur Community VBS
Each summer AMC joins with other area churches to host a community wide Vacation Bible School. Bible school is open to all children in grades K-8.
For more information about bible school, please visit the VBS website.
Sam and his wife, Issa, are excited to join the Arthur Mennonite community!
In 2023, Sam felt the call to look beyond the youth leadership role he was serving for 7 yrs in Shipshewana, IN.
With much discernment and prayer, they joined AMC in January of 2025 when Sam became the Minister of Youth and Family. Sam enjoys date nights with Issa and taking their two sons, Keegan and Parker, out for ice cream or playing soccer. Sam’s personal getaway would be found on a golf course somewhere for solitude and contemplation.
