At AMC, we provide a variety of opportunities to come together and build strong relationships while nurturing a deeper connection with Jesus Christ. We believe that by coming together in fellowship and shared experiences, we can strengthen our bonds with each other and deepen our understanding of our faith.
Here is a look at just a few of the most recent events and activities we've enjoyed together.
In the same way, let your light shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Church Life at AMC goes beyond simple social events and casual get-togethers. We are committed to providing support and offering prayers for one another. Throughout the year, our AMC family engages in various initiatives to assist with a wide range of needs that may arise, such as supporting those facing illness, celebrating new births, and offering help during other significant life events. Find out more below!
SPECIAL TIMES OF PRAYER
One of the most important things we can do to support one another is to pray. If a member or family in the congregation is experiencing a difficult situation, they are welcome to ask for a special time of prayer during our worship service. This time of congregational prayer can be shared publicly during our live stream, or can be done privately during the service which is not shown on our live stream.
If you or your family is ever in need of prayer, please reach out to a Ministry Team member.
DIAPER SHOWERS
Welcoming a newborn into your family is such a blessing. But with a new baby comes diapers...
LOTS of them!
To help with this need, we enjoy hosting a diaper and gift card shower for families in our congregation that have newborns.
GROCERY SHOWERS
One way we love to congratulate newlyweds in our congregation is by hosting a grocery shower. The cost of groceries can be overwhelming for anyone, especially a newly married couple. We enjoy the opportunity to help to ease the burden a bit!
MEAL TRAIN
A great way to help new parents, or those recovering from recent surgeries, illnesses, or other similar situations is to provide meals. Bringing in a meal for those in our congregation means they can focus more on other important tasks and less on what they are going to have to make for dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
